The Rila
Monastery is the largest and most famous
Eastern Orthodox monastery in Bulgaria. The
monastery is a part of UNESCO World Heritage
List. Founded in the 10th century, the Rila
Monastery is regarded as one of Bulgaria's
most important cultural and historical
monuments and is on account of this also a

Koprivshtitza is a museum town displaying
the best-preserved authentic architecture of
the National Revival Period (18-19 century).
Koprivshtitza is a unique place - every

town of Plovdiv has a prominent ancient past
